The Black Advisory Hub is looking forward to announcing the winner of the annual George Bridgetower Essay Prize.
The prize for the winning essay will be £1000, as sponsored by the Alexander Crummell Fund. This year, due to the remarkably strong essay submitted by student essay writers, we are offering a number of additional winning categories for shortlisted candidates.
The prizes will be awarded by the Pro-Vice Chancellor for Education, Professor Bhaskar Vira, as well as Sonita Alleyn and Tyra Amofah-Akardom, the current co-chairs of the Black Advisory Hub.
We welcome current students and staff to join us in celebrating the student writers and in networking with staff and students who support the Black Advisory Hub. Afternoon tea will be provided.
Date and time: Tuesday 28 October, 2.00-4.00
Venue: George Bridgetower Room, Trinity Hall
