Registrations are open for a programme of events for incoming Black students to the University of Cambridge. All new Black students, whether undergraduate or postgraduate, are welcome!
The first event is a pre-term online FYI meeting, on Friday 19 September from 2-5pm. Please register here. This event has been scheduled after offers received and before term starts for the new academic year. The online induction is incoming students’ first taste of life at Cambridge, offering information on how to confidently navigate the transition to this university. We will introduce you to some current Black students and staff, offering a brief introduction to student life and relevant student resources as well as a chance to ask questions about your current interests or concerns. Panel discussions will cover topics of particular interest to incoming Black students and there will be break-out sessions with opportunities for discussion across the event.
