Join Professor Monica Moreno Figueroa for a lecture exploring new ways of working together to challenge racism and inequality through collaboration, care, and emotional understanding.
This event also celebrates Gloria Claire Carpenter, the first Black woman to study at the University of Cambridge, whose legacy as a Jamaican law student at Girton College (1945) and social reformer continues to inspire.
The lecture is free and open to staff, students, and the public, followed by a drinks reception.
