Black Advisory Hub

 

The Black Advisory Hub is currently seeking five students to work on developing text and visual content to build our online presence and communications strategy. The focus will be on reviewing current website material and creating new approaches to engage with and support the needs of current Black students, both undergraduate and postgraduate. 

We are looking for students who have experience and are engaged with the Black student networks and experiences across Cambridge, both educational and extra-curricula. Successful applicants will be expected to work independently and as a team in researching ad creating content, as well as developing a social media and communications strategy, including designing a BAH Newsletter to be launched in the next academic year. The summer project work will mainly be online; work will commence over summer after the exam period.

Roles: five Cambridge students (undergrad or postgrad) as research assistants
Rate of pay: Grade 5 Level 1 on a temporary contract (£14.22 per hour) for approximately 20 hours per student
Period of work: flexible across June - July 2022

Note that students will have to provide evidence of right to work, and Senior Tutor (if undergrad) and Supervisor/College Tutor (if postgrad) permission will be sought, even for work out of term time.
